Motel Monday: Thunderbirds Are Go!

Every Monday I will be sharing with you motel postcards from my fairly sizable collection (more than 1600 of which are posted on my other blog.). There will always be a unifying theme. This week's theme is Thunderbird.

The Thunderbird is a mythological creature from some American Indian cultures. It is considered to be a bird of power and great strength. You can see that people had varying ideas of how to depict the Thunderbird and some of these places sure didn't look like they had much power or strength. See them all after the jump.
