Along The Pacific Highway in California - August, 1955

This is a box of slides from the O.W. Sjogren collection labeled "1955 Aug. Along Pacific Hiway, Calif."  The first few slides are from a festival called Old Spanish Days Fiesta that takes place annually in Santa Barbara, California. The remaining slides are images of fields with beautiful flowers. Mr. and Mrs.Sjogren were lovers of flowers. I have hundreds upon hundreds of slides filled with not but flowers. Normally, i might not post them all, but seeing as how I am currently in a frozen hellscape in the middle of a terrible winter in Indiana, I felt like it would do my soul and winter anger some good to see the flowers and how the Pacific Highway used to be.
