184 Days of the 1962 Seattle World's Fair - Day 28: The Christian Pavilion and Children's Center
By night or day the Christian Pavilion is a highlight of the beautiful Seattle World's Fair. The prize winning window which contains 40 different colors and 4,385 pieces of glass was presented for use during the Fair by the Stained Glass Association of America.
Sixty thousand wood chips go into the handsome mosaic that greets visitors to the Christian Pavilion and Children's Center. The mosaic symbolizes the Christian education of children. Classes and special activities are available daily in the Center for children of Fair visitors.
