Cassingled Out: Annie Lennox - Walking On Broken Glass

Today, at a local thrift store, I came across a whole slew of cassette singles (cassingles) for one nickel apiece. I really don't know why I bought these relics from the late 80s/early 90s other than a weird call back to my childhood. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the cassingles I bought. I don't generally listen to any of these songs (or any of the artists for that matter) but I thought it would be fun to scan the tapes, post the videos, and share any information I could find about these "gems."

The first tape I found was "Walking on Broken Glass" by Scottish singer Annie Lennox. The single came from her album Diva, and reached #1 in Canada. It never climbed above #14 (Billboard Hot 100) in the United States but is a fairly well known song. I don't know any of my friends that won't sing this song when it comes on. The b-side song is a non-album track, It's a pretty decent cover of the Beatles' Don't Let Me Down.

Walking on Broken Glass (featuring John Malkovich):
