Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s General Electric released a series of ads hyping their line of "New Departure" In the ads, potential products of the near future were made possible by New Departure. The future was a utopia of easy to use products/services that made "modern" life a breeze.

To Women Who Don't Sleep Well

In the late 1950s, M.C. Schrank Co. ran a series of ads in New Yorker magazine. The ads were meant to help push their line of nighttime clothing by blaming insomnia on uncomfortable clothing. I have had a very hard time finding out if the ads were successful in helping push sales or if they just succeed in weirding me out and causing me sleepless nights worrying about tiny women cavorting on my hands and face.

National Accounting Machines

In the 1950s and 1960s the National Cash Register Company of Dayton, Ohio ran a series of ads that showed their products being used by workers (secretaries) of nationally recognized companies. These workers and companies were so excited about these machines that weighed two tons and had the memory capacity of a Hannah Montana candy-filled cell phone that they couldn't wait to share the news of their good fortune.

This is an undated, in rough shape, little treasure from "SECRETS OF CHARM" entitled Dance Through a Week To Beauty! It's a 6-day (no dancing on Sundays) dance routine pamphlet to help you pretty yourself up with movement.

All Detergent

A couple of pamphlets from All Detergent. Not sure of the date of these. I am guess they're from the mid-to-late 1950s.
